Join three Indonesian Lecturers Harry Nuriman, Iwan Sulistiawan and Rini Maulina for a special insight into Indonesian culture.
Harry and Iwan will share their passion for their project on electric guitars shaped into two Indonesian traditional weapons Kujang and Trisula (Trident).
They will highlight how the making of electric guitars in the shape of Indonesian traditional weapons is an effective way to conserve cultural artefacts, and to celebrate Sundanese local philosophy and wisdom.
Rini Maulina, a batik artist will enchant us with the art of batik painting: focusing on the practice of making Batik with Mega Mendung style, as well as the style of Batik from Cirebon, West Java.
The event will end with Harry and Iwan giving a short musical performance using their special guitars.
