Learning Objectives :

- Simple Indirect Restorations. Understanding the digital workflow for simple and small unit indirect restorations. Looking at tips and tricks in how to use your scanner to maximise your clinical outcomes for the best results.

- Digital smile design. Use technology to help your patients visualise their wishes from the first appointment, and engage them in decision making to increase case acceptance. We will cover 2D and 3D options.

- Trial smiles. Litigation from veneer treatments / smile designs is one of the highest risk areas. Understanding the importance of the trial smile is an absolute essential in gaining full patient consent and have an understanding of what is possible, and what works. Learn how you can identify problems before they arise, and how to make your treatment more robust and more indemnifiable through ethical dentistry.

- Prep and temporisation. Minimal preparation should be adhered to at all times. By using robust digital workflows, it is possible to deliver indirect restorations as thin as 0.2mm for outstanding results. In this section you will learn the prep techniques required to help you deliver minimal preparation dentistry.

- Lab Communication and Restoration Production. By using digital technology we can relay the exact information to the lab for restoration design, ensuring that what the patient has approved is delivered. We will cover lab based options using the Edelweiss CAD blocks which deliver outstanding results for you and the patient.

- Stress free multiple veneer cementation. Through the use of our bespoke AccuFit carrier system, you can deliver up to 10 veneers in one go reducing time and stress significantly. Topics covered will be cementing protocols for different materials, carrier delivery and finishing.

- Robust digital records. Through the clever use of technology you can make records of your work which will demonstrate ethical and complaint smile design delivery. This is used for post treatment patient management, giving the patient ownership of any problems and helping to combat any litigation issues.

He has two practices, a General Practice, and a bespoke designed clinic that focuses only on the digital workflow in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Chris is Past President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a Key Opinion Leader with a number of International companies. He is co-founder and director of the real dentist academy and regularly lectures on dental efficiencies, and advanced solutions using digital dentistry to improve your results.Chris has an enthusiasm for straight talking dental education, cutting through a lot of the fakery that is out there.
