With just some leaves of Japanese Indigo you will dye a silk scarf. Local artist Bernadette Puleo will be teaching this Indigo Dyeing workshop. You will watch the color of the white scarf go from white to yellow to teal! After rinsing the scarf it will turn a beautiful robin’s egg blue. After dyeing you will be able to stencil a design of your choice onto the scarf coloring with rolled up leaves or painting with pigment. This will be the last fresh leaf dye workshop for the season.
