Days: Friday 2 pm - 5 pm

Saturday 10 am - 1 pm

Your ticket price includes:

During our cultural workshop, participants will:

• Discover the process of Salvadoran indigo extraction.

• Engage in a traditional dyeing method using organic indigo (añil).

Each workshop will have its specific items:

• Wood wall art or 2 pillow cases(February 21, 22, 28, March 1)

• Upcycled fabric wall art - tapestry ( March 7,8)

• A tote bag or a gift-wrapping cloth (March 14, 15)

• A silk neck scarf (March 21, 22, 28)

Choose one technique to explore:

• Shibori: Folding and tie, PVC pipe wrap, resist, stitched.
• Batik

Creative Opportunities:

Get creative and explore various ways to craft your unique indigo art!
