Join us for our IndigiQueer Relative Kinship gathering happening on October 11th, 2025 from 2pm-4pm in Fort Worth, Texas! Location:
Fort Worth Contemporary Arts
3050 Waits Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76109
The theme of this kinship gathering is “Items of Identity Showcase”. We encourage participants to bring an item of significance to your culture/family/identity. You can share stories about your ancestors and families that helped bring you to the individual you are today. We will also have a group discussion on legacy and resilience, and what that means to us.
We will also be touring the ‘Indian Removal Act III: We Are A Wounding’ exhibit by Joe Harjo.
IndigiQueer Time is an event hosted by the MMIW Texas Rematriate Kinship Collective. We welcome all indigenous LGBTQ2S+ identifying individuals and allies. We aim for this to be a safe space for conversation, laughter, and healing. There will be zero tolerance for bullying and harassment in these spaces.
For question, please contact [email protected] or send a direct message to Ruth Thunder Hawk.
