Kelsey and Tarryn Love are proud Gunditjmara Keerray Woorroong women from Western Victoria. They created Koorroyarr Arts to encompass the idea of being sisters and Gunditjmara women continually learning and seeking knowledge of their culture, while using art to channel this connection. ‘Koorroyarr’ means ‘granddaughter’ in Keerray Woorroong dialect. Kelsey and Tarryn use a variety of mediums and techniques in their art practice including painting, wood burning and weaving. From 2020-2021, they were artists in residence for the Platform LAB program.

We at PLATFORM acknowledge that we live, learn and work on the stolen land of the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nation. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
