About this Event
The Sacred Circle (aka. Medicine Wheel) has been used by generations of various First Nations people for health and healing and as a tool for teaching and spirituality.
This is an opportunity to learn in a participatory experience:
- To become acquainted with the common characteristics of the Sacred Circle embraced by most native nations.
- That each nation embraces unique dimensions as they approach the Sacred Circle related to the context and culture of their native nation.
- To engage the Tiano understanding of the Sacred Circle.
- To understand how the Sacred Circle relates to us gathered today
- How non-natives may engage with the Sacred Circle
Behike Dayvanna Caraballo of the Taino Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle will guide us.
