...from Native and non-Native “plant friends” about specific plants that are important to local Indigenous communities. Why are they important? What are their uses? How do we take care of them?

...our relationship with the land and between neighbors
If you've wondered how you can make a positive difference in your yard, garden, or landscaping, this is for you. Native plants in our region have a variety of important uses and meanings - knowing what these are and caring for these plants can align us better with our ecosystem and our neighbors.
There will be a number of plants on hand to give away, with instructions on how to plant and care for them.
Come when you can between 1 - 3 - all are welcome!
