As we join the celebrations of the 10th Anniversary of Indigenous Peoples Day, and as we share space and wrap in love our communities…
We acknowledge all the ones that continually do the work for the People, and all those before us. As we continue pouring love, strength, and knowledge to our younger generations to empower and root them- we are incredibly excited to share a place filled with love and uplifting of community, by community ❤️

____________ Leading up to IPD24
BUFFALO HARVEST CEREMONY•
In addition, we are also planning a buffalo harvest ceremony to prepare a (very delicious) meal for all of you on Oct 14th. The harvest ceremony will take place a few days prior to Indigenous Peoples Day. We are grateful to have the opportunity to share this medicine, and teachings for the youth participating.
GETTING READY!!
Leading up to IPD24 we will be holding a sewing gathering/workshop! Stay tuned for date & location!
Would you like to host a sign making party or a sewing workshop? Let us know!
FUNDRAISERS•
Patches commemorating this year’s celebration will be available by donation.
Stay tuned for designs unveiling!
(All proceeds will be going towards event expenses.)

WE ARE BEING HOSTED•
Big THANK-YOUS’ to everyone that is pouring love into this celebration! ??????❤️ and huge shout out to the leadership and youth at Washington Hall, Creative Justice, 206Zulu, HIDMO / Cypher Cafe -for creating the time and space in their regular programming and youth activities to host us for this celebration.
?- Cypher Cafe will be open on this day, and we encourage supporting them on this day, and everyday!! ☕️☕️☕️??? -?

NEEDS & ASKS:
Volunteers•
You can volunteer on Oct 14th, or in preparation leading up to it.
Many hands make for light work! ??
So whether it’s 1hr, set up, wrap up, or the whole event- it is welcomed and appreciated ??❤️.

Financial & In-Kind Donations•
ALL DONATIONS WILL BE GOING TOWARDS TAKING CARE OF EXPENSES & PRESENTERS, AND TAKING CARE OF COMMUNITY ❤️
As a grassroots event, we currently DO NOT have grants or sponsorships for this gathering, and are personal out of pocket expenses. Truly a labor of love for our communities.
