About this Event
Aaniin!
We are thrilled to support a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing access to justice for Indigenous communities in northern Ontario.
This initiative, spearheaded by the Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund (IPRF) in partnership with the Law Foundation of Ontario, seeks to address the unique legal needs and challenges faced by Indigenous Peoples through a collaborative, community-centric approach.
Community Engagement Session
Join us November 8th for a community engagement session at the North Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre. This session is designed to foster dialogue and learn directly from Indigenous communities about their access to justice priorities. Your participation will play a crucial role in shaping a funding bundle, supported by the Foundation’s initial $1M commitment, aimed at meeting these needs.

How You Can Contribute:
We invite you to participate in the engagement sessions to share your insights on community needs, access to law, cultural sensitivity, and community participation.
