This November, the historic Roxy Theatre in Bremerton’s Quincy Square will honor Native American Heritage Month with a free three-part documentary film series amplifying Indigenous voices, history, and leadership. Each evening features a screening, introductions, and a live discussion with filmmakers, panelists, or community leaders.
- Thursday, November 6 – SUGARCANE
Join us for this powerful new documentary with filmmaker Julian Brave NoiseCat in attendance. Following the film, Julian will lead a discussion and share insights from his newly released book, available to pick up that evening. - Thursday, November 13 – FROM EARTH TO SKY
A celebration of innovation and vision, this documentary spotlights Indigenous architects reimagining the built environment. Stay after the film for a special panel featuring architects and tribal leaders shaping the future. - Thursday, November 20 – FISH WAR
Back by popular demand, this essential documentary returns to the Roxy. The screening will be followed by a panel of tribal leaders reflecting on the past, present, and future of treaty rights and sovereignty.
