Eldon House is hosting an Indigenous Beading workshop series with Mi’kmaq artist Mikaila Stevens. During the three classes, participants will learn about the significance of beadwork to Indigenous cultures, participate in the beading process and will complete several projects. The first session will provide the basics of beading, where participants will create a key chain. The following two sessions will further develop participant skills and be applied in creating a piece of jewelry. Please join us this spring to learn a new skill, enjoy good company, and have fun! No prior experience necessary.
