About this Event
Indigenous Beading Workshop
King's College and Western University students, enjoy a restorative self-care study break while learning traditional Indigenous beading! Join us for a fun, hands-on beading circle workshop where you'll learn techniques and create your own piece of beadwork. No experience needed! Beading circles are considered medicine because we know that art, mindfulness and sharing space together is grounding and healing.
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided. All participants will receive a mini beading kit to use and take home. This is a free event, open to all Western students. Space is limited. Please book a ticket to guarantee your spot. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to engage in cultural artistry in a relaxed, friendly setting.
