Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April. Every store is unique and independent, and every party is different. Our party is about celebrating what keeps The Bluestocking Bookshop your favorite used bookshop in Holland!Our day begins at 10am with exclusive IBD merch and a start to the day's giveaways! MI BookHop Bingo cards will be available to pick up, along with exclusive totes to purchase for your Hop! Our staff prize baskets are a popular favorite, returning again for this year!
At 2pm, celebrate the sustainability of used books with our crafting tables. Bluestocking Bestie Lisa will be on hand to help with creating fun bookish arts for you to take home - this is a great all ages activity! (Some crafts will have an associated cost - only pay what you make!)
At 6pm, we'll shut the day down hard with a MI BookHop Launch Party that will get your first BINGO! Snacks and drinks, plus a free ARC to anyone with their Bingo!
