About this Event
Model Icon Inc is a revolutionary luxury brand. We accept models of all sizes, heights, ages, and ethnicities proving that everyone deserves to be represented on the runway in high end garments and in a gorgeous production that celebrates diversity and inclusivity. Models have a chance to audition for our Nov 16th Indianapolis fashion show, our Nov 22nd Chicago fashion show, The Becoming an Icon tv series, and soley to audition for a nomination for a major modeling award presented during the Nov 16th fashion show. The Model Icon producer Sherrie Gearheart coaches each model for 6 weeks in extensive high end runway training. Personal self development and growth occur to ensure the model's brand is taken to the next level. We will return to an 8 hour intensive (in-person) rehearsal held at the end of October with a runway agency and top coaches present helping our models grow, grow, GROW. Ms. Gearheart has graced the runway in MAJOR productions around the USA & world. Gearheart will teach the best posturing for ones body type/outfit and ways to vastly improve the model's signature walk all while adhering to the routine being taught. Those returning from the previous show are given additional moves and longer times on the runway as we build on their skill set each and every show.
This audition also serves as a networking event as several industry professionals will be present and engaged in the audition process from lead photographers, fashion designers, makeup artists, other show producers, and more.
Those auditioning on Sunday, August 31st are to arrive at 2pm EST and no later. All models are to send their name, height, measurements, photos, and video of their walk prior to auditioning in person. Wardrobe: ALL BLACK FITTED LEGGINGS, BLACK FITTED TOP, BLACK OR NUDE SHOES (heels for women, tiny heels/flats for children, dress shoes for men preferably). No wedges. No gym shoes. No jeans.
P hotoshoot Opportunity: If you want to engage in an editorial shoot at the end of the rehearsal we are accepting limited models for this opportunity. Start off the season strong. 15 minute shoot with 2 edited images is $100. If you are looking to meet with Sherrie the next morning to go over what could have improved during your audition (including strengths/weaknesses), your portfolio, your online presence to improve your brand it is $50 for 15 minutes or $75 for 30 minutes. This is not offered regularly and these are the discounted rates. None of those services are mandatory. They are offered to build your brand if you so choose.
