We are pleased to announce that on Saturday, November 22, from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm, Top 20 Dance Inc., and the South Shore Dance Alliance will be hosting two workshops conducted by BABA Stafford C Berry Jr., Director of the Indiana University School of Contemporary Dance's African American Dance Company. The workshops will take place in the gym at the Carrie Gosch Early Learning Center, located at 4001 Indianapolis Blvd. in East Chicago, Indiana.The workshops, the first of which will run from 9:30 to 11:30 am, and the second workshop will start at 1:30 pm and end at 3:30 pm, will feature elements of West African Dance with Live African Drumming, along with scholarship opportunities to attend the Annual Kukusanyna Dance Intensive at Indiana University's Bloomington Campus. Both workshops are free for high school students.
