Experience and enjoy a truly spooky evening with Broadway Fright Night! Broadway Fright Night will be coming to ISU as part of the Performing Arts Series on October 2nd, 2024, at 7:30 in Tilson Auditorium and a Pre-Show event at 6:30 pm.Broadway Fright Night is a celebration of songs from musicals with supernatural, horror and sci-fi themes. Created and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest vocalists will pay homage to Broadway and Off-Broadway’s most original, intriguing, and terrifying characters in this all-new concert event. The stars will recreate their most memorable musical moments, display their great versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with the audience.
The evening will include musical selections from Wicked (“The Wizard and I”, “Defying Gravity”); The Phantom of the Opera (“Think of Me”, “Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again” and “Music of the Night”); Jekyll and Hyde (“This Is the Moment”); Little Shop of Horrors (“Somewhere That’s Green”); The Rocky Horror Show (“Science Fiction, Double Feature”, “Time Warp”); Sweeney Todd (“A Little Priest”); Young Frankenstein (“He Vas My Boyfriend”); Dance of the Vampires (“Total Eclipse of the Heart”); Dracula the Musical (“Life After Life”); Bat Out of Hell (“I Would Do Anything For Love”); Love Never Dies (“Love Never Dies”); The Secret Garden (“How Could I Ever Know?”) and much more!
The evening will include a Broadway Halloween Costume Contest where audience members are invited to dress as their favorite Broadway Characters! Audience members register at a table in the lobby before the show and during intermission. At top of the second act, judging will take place by audience applause. The prize will be 2 tickets to the Motown Show and Dinner tickets!
Tickets for Broadway Fright Night are on sale 9/6 at 10 am, while season tickets are available now at am.ticketmaster.com/indianastate. Adult ticket prices range from $23-$25, ISU faculty and staff tickets are $21-$23 and youth (ages 2-12) tickets are $5. ISU students are admitted for free with a valid ISU ID.
