About this Event

Join us for the Indiana Certified Peer Crisis Training!

DMHA is providing an in-person, 40-hour Certified Crisis Peer Training at the Indiana Government Center, 402 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN.

This 5-day course will prepare Certified Peer Support Specialists to work in peer support roles in crisis service environments. The training runs Monday September 23rd- Friday September 27th from 9am-4:30pm. You must attend ALL 40 hours in order to beocme certified.

The training supports the development/honing of skills focused on the following areas: 1) Peer relationships in crisis services, 2) cooling the crisis, 3) peer practice improvement: debriefing and supervision, 4) crisis peer support and teamwork, and 5) self-development in peer support: professional development and self-care.


There is a new process to sign up for this event. You must sign up for this class in Certemy and complete all of the steps before you register for this event. Anyone who has not completed the steps will be refunded their ticket to this event.
