Indian Ocean One of India’s pioneering folk fusion bands, Indian Ocean has been reshaping the Indian music landscape for over three decades. Known for their distinctive fusion of Indian folk music with rock and jazz, Indian Ocean has rendered timeless hits like Kandisa and Jhini, Their groundbreaking work has earned them prestigious accolades, including the MTV Immies Award for Best Rock Album and the GIMA Award for Best Fusion Album. Their music has also been featured in critically acclaimed films such as Masaan and Black Friday. Fakira Sharing the stage with Indian Ocean is Fakira, one of Bengal’s leading folk bands, dedicated to preserving and reviving the ancient Baul music tradition. For over 11 years, Fakira has been at the forefront of Bengal’s folk revival, blending traditional Baul lyrics and instruments with modern musical elements, creating a sound that appeals to both folk purists and contemporary listeners.
