Breads you will learn in this Cooking Class:
Roti/ Chapati/ Phulka
Traditional unleavened flatbread made with 2 ingredients - water and whole wheat flour, cooked on a griddle.
Parantha
Crispy and flaky - rolled with layers of oil/ butter, and cooked on a griddle.
Puri
Classic fried Indian flatbread that puffs up beautifully in hot oil.
Alu Parantha
Flatbread stuffed with a mixture of potato and spices and a favorite for breakfast or even a meal.
What to expect
- Hands-on cooking experience. All participants will roll paranthas during this class
- Understand the use of herbs and spices used in the recipes

About the Host
Born and brought up in a Himalayan State in India, Babita learned to cook from her mom. Having traveled extensively, she experienced uniqueness of cooking methods and spices of various cultures. For over 15 years, she has been making balanced, nutritious, seasonal cuisine with natural and robust flavors.
She is the founder of BeBe's Kitchen - a women-run social enterprise that supports aspiring refugee and immigrant chefs through immersive culinary experiences that go beyond food.
