About this Event
Join us for a heart-warming hands-on cooking experience where passion, and community come together.
India Cooks for Gaza is a special cooking class hosted by Olive Haven, guided by two wonderful Indian couples: Amrita & Navneet and Naureen & Ajwad, who will lead us through making Kerala chicken stew with ghee rice π a cozy, fragrant, soul-warming dish from South India. Vegetarian options will also be available.
Just like our previous Maqlooba for Gaza class, 100% of ticket proceeds go directly to supporting families in Gaza. This is a chance to learn something new, eat something delicious, meet good people, and make a real impact.
Why Gaza? Why now? β€οΈβπ©Ή
Right now, over 2 million people in Gaza are displaced, many living in tents through harsh winter cold. Families are struggling to feed their children, to stay warm, to access even the most basic essentials. Every contribution helps provide food, shelter, medical aid, and dignity to people who urgently need support. This event is a simple, meaningful way to respond, by gathering as a community, cooking together, and sending help where itβs desperately needed.
