About this Event
Topic: India and Canada: A Relationship in the Crossroads

Presented by: India Innovation Institute and South Asian Business Association

Synopsis:

At this conference, organized by the India Innovation Institute, we will examine the India-Canada relationship, which despite recent headwinds is a crucial relationship for both countries. India remains the largest source of immigrants to Canada, while Canada is heavily invested in India’s growth story.
We are pleased to welcome the Consul-General of India in Toronto, Mr Siddartha Nath, who will be our keynote speaker.
The conference will have three interesting panel discussions. In our first panel, we will look at how some immigrants from South Asia have become a successful part of the Canadian mosaic. The second panel shall examine the crucial role of innovation from Indo-Canadian leaders in the technology space. The final panel will examine how both countries can navigate through the current difficulties to ensure that the India-Canada relationship lives up to its potential.
The conference should be of interest to practitioners, academics, students and anyone with an interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, international development and Canada’s growing relationship with South Asia. Registration is free and the conference will provide opportunities for networking.
