About this Event

Ho ho ho … it’s time to pop on your Christmas Jumper and join us for networking, laughter yoga, a mince pie and the annual festive quiz. We will help you decompress after a busy year and help you to look after your mental and physical wellbeing.

This session will start off with networking and a round-up of the year and all its changes.

Join us to collaborate with fellow independant practitioners, share ideas and experiences. Make new connections and experience a community of peers who can offer advice, encouragement, and support during career transitions or challenges.

Then back by popular demand, I’m delighted to share Claire Dallimore will be attending so you’ll be able to enjoy a laughter yoga session. She'll remind you that having a laugh and not taking life so seriously is very important and good for all of our mental & physical wellbeing.

Laughter yoga offers a unique blend of physical exercise and emotional well-being, making it a valuable tool for people professionals. Learn how HR can foster a positive work environment that enhances employee morale and reduces stress. Embracing laughter yoga can empower people professionals to cultivate a more engaged and resilient workforce.

We’ll conclude the session round out with a festive quiz.

Claire Dallimore is an Emotional Electrician and the founder of Free Your Light, a Coaching and Mental Health Wellbeing company, where she works with her clients to support them to reignite their inner spark, to feel lighter and shine brighter in their lives.

Having a passion for people and supporting them to be the best they can be, Claire brings together to share with others, her skills and experience which have been gained over many years in and outside of the corporate environment, including coaching and mentoring, developing, implementing and managing successful long running Learning and Development programmes, designing and delivering F2F and virtual Wellbeing, ESOL English and Employability workshops and webinars, for people from all over the world, at different stages of their careers and diverse walks of life.

Alongside her qualifications in Learning and Development with the CIPD and Coaching and mentoring with the CMI, Claire’s interest in this subject leads her to actively seek out and gain extra skills, knowledge and experience around Mental Health Wellbeing and Emotional intelligence in different ways including being a MHFA England First Aider, attending webinars and trainings, and encouraging people to laugh as a Laughter Yoga Leader. After experiencing some mental health issues herself and supporting friends and family members with theirs, Claire also draws on personal experience to hold her clients in a supportive, non-judgemental way.

Outside of her work, Claire likes to do various things including keeping active playing tennis, doing yoga and walking on her local hills, or being creative with painting and drawing, loosing herself in audio books or watching some trashy TV.
