Independent Bookstore Day is a lovely made-up holiday that is cheerfully celebrated by hundreds of bookstores across the country each year on the last Saturday in April.It is a chance for indie stores to celebrate the loyal bookstore patrons that keep brick-and-mortar shops alive and thriving in an era online domination.
