Independence was selected as a First Impressions community through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. The First Impressions program brings a team of unannounced visitors to our town to assess it through the eyes of first-time guests.During this session, the visiting team will share their findings, what stood out, what opportunities they saw, and ideas for making Independence, and Buchanan County an even more vibrant and welcoming community.
Come see what they discovered and be part of the next steps toward strengthening our community’s vitality, visitor experience, and quality of life for residents.
