- Innovators to network,
- Founders to learn about IncuGator programming, the application process and resources
- SFSU students and alumni to learn more about how to get involved as a fund or portfolio manager.
What is the IncuGator?
The San Francisco State University IncuGator (SFSU Gator + Incubator) is the University's startup incubator designed to develop and accelerate the innovative ideas and entrepreneurial visions of SF State students of all majors and levels. IncuGator accepts approximately seven new concepts each academic year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, a incubated concepts are invited to stay in the portfolio for as long as a member of the founding team is still a registered student at SFSU.
Concept founders and their team will spend their time in the IncuGator:
- building a prototype and/or minimally viable product (MVP)
- testing and finding validation of proof of concept
- identifying, speaking and working with potential customers or development partners
- exploring business and revenue models
- developing a pitch and pitch deck
Based on the concept progress and completion of development milestones, concepts will have access to seed funding to further their product development, market research and manufacturing goals. If you are a currently enrolled SFSU student or active staff member and are looking for support to develop or grow your business or startup, then the IncuGator may be what you're looking for.
San Francisco State University alumni, students, and extended community are cordially invited. Free admission, RSVP Required.

Marco is a Marine Corps veteran and computer science student with minors in entrepreneurship and mathematics at San Francisco State University. He has led and grown student tech organizations like SF Hacks and SparkSF, raising five-figure sponsorships and supporting hundreds of students in entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation.

Graciela joined IncuGator to be part of a community that celebrates creativity, ambition, and the courage to take ideas from concept to reality. Graciela supports student entrepreneurs by providing constructive feedback, collaborative brainstorming, and strategic outreach.
