About this Event
WTS-DC is excited to host an IN PERSON Executive Women’s Roundtable (EWR) on Wednesday, December 4. This invitation-only event seeks to bring together high-ranking women in the transportation industry in a facilitated forum for interacting, networking, and discussing common issues. We invite you to be part of the small group of women leaders who will virtually sit around the table together to share successes and lessons learned in a confidential setting, allowing you to build camaraderie and develop your professional network.
Fellow WTS executive member Veronica Davis, Cities Program Director for AtkinsRéalis, will join us to discuss her book, . With decades of experiences as a civil engineer and transportation planner, her book shines a light on the inequitable and often destructive practice of transportation planning and engineering, and calls for new thinking and more diverse leadership to create transportation networks that connect people to jobs, education, opportunities, and to each other.
We hope this will be a lively and open discussion, so we encourage reading the book in advance.
Coffee and networking will begin at 8:30AM, with the program beginning promptly at 9AM.
Please note that attendance is by invitation only.
