Join our network for teachers, educational support professionals, and staff focused on inclusive school spaces. For the purposes of our meetings, inclusive educational spaces are defined as those where we consider, engage with, and affirm LGBTQIA+, disabled, BiPOC, immigrant and marginalized school community members. Participate with a peer group that seeks to connect with and utilize our community of care to share, support, and learn about practices that aid us in improving outcomes for the students in our classes. The facilitators, Dr. Sara and Kate, prioritize a setting that encourages safe and brave participation. This program is free for all educators, but space is limited to make sure to register as soon as possible!
We will meet once a month from 7-8pm on 9/30, 10/21, 11/18, 12/16, 1/20, 2/17 and 3/17. Our first and last sessions will be in person, but the rest of the meetings will be held virtually.
