About this Event
This training will focus on creating inclusive play spaces, understanding the classroom as the “third teacher,” and building a well-designed, effective learning environment. Participants will explore essential classroom supplies, learn how to use free and recycled materials, and receive ideas for sourcing these materials locally in Pinellas County. The training will also address how to design environments where every child can thrive and how engaging all the senses supports meaningful learning. The day will conclude with a hands-on “make-and-take” materials activity to reinforce concepts and provide practical tools for immediate classroom use.
