About this Event
Join us to hear about and celebrate the publication of the book entitled Inclusion Emergency: Diversity in Architecture [co-edited by Hannah Durham and Grace Choi, Publisher: RIBA Publishing].
The evening will include an introduction to the book by Grace Choi, RIBA North East co-chair, followed by a lively panel discussion from contributors and networking with drinks and light refreshments.
Inclusion Emergency captures insights from leading voices in the profession. The book encourages understanding and reflection, addresses critical questions and provides steps towards meaningful change.
The book aims to help those who are under-recognised to find the role models, community and tools to feel confident, supported and valued. It will also help those intimidated by change to understand why it is important and provoke constructive action.
The book has been sponsored by Ryder Architecture, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and Invisible Studio and will be available from RIBA Books online from 10 May, and available from all retailers from 1 June. A discount code for the book will be available on the night.
