Join us at a speaking engagement titled "Inclusion and Neurodiverse Learning" with special guest Dr. Temple Grandin on Friday, August 22 at the Genesys Conference and Banquet Center in Grand Blanc, MI. A community resource fair with light refreshments will occur before the presentation. Dr. Grandin will speak about her life navigating autism and how to incorporate inclusive practices personally and professionally. A meet and greet with Dr. Grandin will occur after her presentation. All are welcome.Temple Grandin is a world-famous animal scientist, autism advocate, and author of “Thinking in Pictures: My Life with Autism”. She has received numerous awards and honors, including the Time 100 list of influential people, induction into the National Women's Hall of Fame, and honorary degrees from various universities. Her life story was made into an Emmy Award-winning HBO movie starring Claire Danes.
