Incahoots

Incahoots [in cahoots] is a cover band in Boca Raton, Florida delivering upbeat danceable songs fusing the roots side of rock with the rock side of country, the island vibes of reggae with the feel-good vibes of blues, soul, and bluegrass. We seek the less anticipated deep cuts over the popular hits most cover bands play, because we have more freedom of interpretation. We incorporate the sounds of the 70s, 80s, and 90s with their contemporary counterparts, sometimes even in creative medleys or mash-ups.

Incahoots was started as a drum-bass-guitar trio in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2016, with the addition of a dedicated female vocalist a few years later. Three of the four original members (drums, bass, and vocalist) collectively migrated to Boca Raton, Florida in 2021. The original fourth member (guitar) is a long-distance bonus, though we hope he’ll make the migration at some point in the future. From there, we’ve completed the five-piece rhythm & blues revue lineup with local South Florida talent. We are particularly strong in the vocal department, and like to spice up the vocal harmonies on most of our songs.

We are long-time friends, each with a lifetime of musical/gigging background of their own, and with a few gigs under our belt as Incahoots. We have great chemistry and play for the fun of it more than anything else, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our regular gigs in the South Florida market.
