Join us for the Inaugural Moana Vā Games 2025, a two-day netball tournament that celebrates sport, diversity, and connection! 🌈🏐
This event is a vibrant celebration of the Pacific Rainbow community, their allies, families, and friends across Canterbury. It’s more than just netball – it’s a chance to meet new people, foster inclusiveness, and promote healthy wellbeing while having fun.
We believe in Participation, Engagement, Inclusiveness, and Wellbeing, so whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, there's a place for everyone on the court.
Tournament Details:
Teams must have a squad of 10 or more players.
Standard Netball Rules apply, with exceptions to ensure inclusivity:
No restrictions on female-to-male ratio in teams (final discretion lies with organisers).
Fair play and inclusivity are at the core of this tournament.
Gender Self-Identification: All participants have the right to self-identify their gender and will be supported with a respectful and inclusive environment.
Registration:
Spaces are capped at 20 teams, so register early to secure your spot!
A waitlist will be available for late registrants.
