Differentiated teaching strategies appropriate for novice, intermediate, and advanced learners at the bedside, apply principles of scaffolding and progressive autonomy to clinical teaching encounters; demonstrate techniques to adapt bedside teaching to learners’ developmental stages while ensuring patient-centered care and reflection on one’s own teaching style; and identify opportunities to support learners’ growth from novice to expert.
