Join Historic Lewes on Saturday, March 29, 2025, for the inaugural Cannon Ball, a gala supporting The Lewes Historical Society. This one-of-a-kind event will highlight the rich maritime history of our region and the significance of Historic Lewes’ Cannonball House Maritime Museum in the heart of downtown Lewes.The gala will be taking place at the Lewes Yacht Club and will kick off at 5pm with a cocktail hour. Dinner, live music, Historic Lewes interpreters, a silent and live auction, and more will all be part of the evening! The evening will conclude at 9pm.
Please note, The Cannon Ball is black-tie optional.

Tickets are $175 per person and can be purchased through the provided link on this event page. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. Upon purchase of your ticket(s), you will automatically receive a receipt in your email. There are no physical tickets for this event. You will be asked to present your virtual tickets at the door. Please see below for more information about what your ticket(s) include.
The purchase of a gala ticket includes:
Admission into the Cannon Ball
Cocktail Hour with complimentary hors d’oeuvres (starting at 5pm). A cash bar (beer, wine, and liquor) will be available
Seated Dinner. At time of ticket purchase, please indicate any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions of each guest. Assorted desserts will follow dinner.
Interactions with historical interpreters, live music, dancing, and more!
Opportunity to participate in the silent and live auctions
