In Your Words Community Writing Workshop

Everyone has a story to tell, and everyone is a writer. Celebrate the importance of words at this storytelling workshop with the Palmetto Literacy Council and Communal Pen, a community-writing initiative. The workshop will celebrate our power to make our community better, in honor of National Volunteer Week. We will write in short, 3-5 minute segments on the potential of one person to change a life or a community, then share those stories in our safe, supportive workshop. 

This fun-filled workshop will include writing, sharing, and giving affirmation to one another on our storytelling journey. No previous experience in storytelling or writing is needed.

This event is free, but due to limited space, registration is required.
