Join the Portage County Historical Society for a special evening of storytelling, music, and inspiration at In Their Own Words: A Live Oral History with Tom Pease.Born and raised along the Mississippi River bluffs in Burlington, Iowa, Tom Pease’s lifelong love of the natural world has shaped his journey as both an educator and performer. With humor, movement, and heartfelt songs, he brings people together in laughter and connection. Now living on 75 acres of rolling woods and fields in rural Amherst, Tom continues to inspire audiences of all ages across the Midwest.
Come hear Tom’s story in his own words—about performance, nature, and a life dedicated to teaching, creativity, and joy.
🎟️ Admission: $25 for PCHS members, $35 for non-members, and $40 at the door. Seating is limited—reserve your spot today!
