Enjoy an evening with local Chef and finalist of Bravo TV's Top Chef (season 19), Evelyn Garcia. You'll pick up tips and and enjoy a delicious meal as she introduces you to some of her favorite dishes from El Salvador. From a delightful appetizer to a rich seafood stew and a perennial favorite for dessert, Chef Evelyn will share tricks of the trade as she shows you how to make each dish. 

For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine that has been perfectly paired with your meal.

ABOUT EVELYN GARCIA

Houston native, Chef Evelyn García, Chef/Co-owner of Kin HTX, cooked throughout NYC at Jean George Spice Market under Chef Anthony Ricco;  Masak with Chef Larry Reutens; and  Kin Shop, ChefHarold Dieterle. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Evelyn worked in NYC for 10 years before moving back home to Houston. With strong family ties and love for her hometown, Evelyn knew she wanted to build what is now known as Kin HTX in Houston, Texas. From pop ups, to chef residencies,restaurants, and a product line,  KIN HTX continues to evolve and showcase her love for cooking & local agriculture. Chef Evelyn Garcia, with business partner & Chef Henry Lu, will debut their new concept Jūn by KIN, fall of 2022 in the Houston Heights.

Most notably, Chef Evelyn was recently a finalist on the 19th season of Bravo TV's show Top Chef. 

• Salvadorian-style Enchiladas (Masa Patty topped with Ground Beef, Vegetables, & Queso Fresco) 
• Mariscada (Seafood Stew with Annatto Rice) 
• Empanadas de Platano (Plantain Empanadas filled with Coconut Custard)
