IN THE HOT SEAT is an improvisational comedy where a guest star is thrown into multiple sketches without a script, preparation, or knowledge of the scenario. The guest performer, dressed in a costume that provides their only clue about the role, walks through a door into a fully realized set. While the ensemble cast follows a loose script to move the story along, the guest must improvise their way through the scene, justifying the bizarre dialogue and situations they encounter. What could go wrong?
Our Special Guest Star Natalie Kilkenny has embraced theater for over a decade, coaching numerous improv teams and teaching at Rise Comedy and the Bovine Metropolis Theater. Natalie delights audiences with the popular improv troupe, Dishwater Blondes, and acted as producer of the Denver Improv Festival that attracts creative talents to Denver stages from LA, NYC and The Second City. Natalie co-hosted and co-produced the Daughters of the Improv Revolution. You may catch Natalie in several short films and as a regular improviser with SCRIPTprov™ at Miners Alley Performance Center in Golden and at Rise Comedy in Last Laugh Standing in Denver.
