The L.A. GOAL and Inside Out Productions Annual Art Show & Open House inspired by the Rhythm of Music!
Welcome to the L.A. GOAL and Inside Out Productions Annual Art Show & Open House, where we’re inspired by the rhythm of music! Join us as we celebrate the incredible talents of artists with developmental disabilities. This year’s theme, "IN THE GROOVE," brings the energy and movement of music to life through vibrant and dynamic artwork that is sure to move your spirit.
Our annual show features seven unique art projects, each one a creative expression inspired by the world of music:
- And the Band Played On: A captivating series of paper collages and mixed-media pieces that highlight the joy and diversity of musical instruments.
- Warped Records: Fiber art creations that explore the tactile and visual rhythms found in the grooves of vinyl records.
- Concert Posters: Bold acrylic paintings on canvas that capture the excitement of live music through imaginative and colorful concert posters.
- Ceramics: A collection of beautifully crafted bowls, dishes, vases, and musical-themed treasures that blend the history of music with the artistry of ceramics.
- BOOM Blocks: Mini quilts made from upcycled fabrics, celebrating the iconic boombox and the universal language of music.
- Emerging Art Class: Pillowcases created with mixed-media painting on embroidery.
- Saturday Art Class - Yarn Painting: Stunning yarn paintings inspired by Huichol art, featuring vibrant scenes drawn from dreams, landscapes, and animals.
Each project reflects the unique talents and perspectives of our artists, weaving together the rhythm of music with the visual arts. We invite you to explore these works and experience the harmony of creativity and expression.
Alongside the artwork, you’ll find a variety of handmade products available for purchase, including apparel, tie-dye socks, shirt savers, cards, and more—all created and designed by our talented artists with developmental disabilities. Every purchase directly supports Inside Out Productions Studio, helping to fund art supplies and support employment opportunities for our artists.
