West End Art Studios is proud to announce In the Frame: North Cork, a dynamic new group exhibition showcasing the creative talent of artists living and working in Mallow and its surrounding region. The exhibition opens on Friday 12 September at 6PM with an evening of art, music, and wine — all are welcome.
Featuring work from approximately 15–20 artists, the show includes painting, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media. This exhibition highlights the diversity and strength of artistic voices in North Cork.
“This part of Cork is often overlooked when it comes to the arts,” says organiser Sabina Lucas, “and I felt it was time to shift the focus. There’s a huge amount of creative work happening in North Cork — it deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported.”
The exhibition is hosted by West End Art Studios, an artist-run hub committed to building a vibrant, inclusive creative network in North Cork. Run entirely by volunteers, the studio has supported a wide range of exhibitions — from professional solo shows to early childhood collaborations — and continues to grow as a space for connection, experimentation, and opportunity. Admission is free.
