"In The Cut" Is a weekly dance party brought to by Songbyrd DC, with a rotating rosters of DMV Dj's.
LexisLane is a DC native who made her debut on U street at the Dirty Goose. She currently has residencies at The W hotel, 18th Street Lounge, Dirty Goose, Roy Boys, Saint Ex, Velvet Lounge, and Hill Prince. She has had the honor of playing for Throwing Shade radio station as well as at Throwing Shade events in DC and Brooklyn New York.
She enjoys playing loungy scenes and vibes out with soulhouse, future beats, 90's-current hip hop and r&b, afrobeat, and latin. She just likes to play good music and always intends to leave good vibes with whatever crowd she's catering.
She is still very early in her career and enjoys listening to new music and learning new techniques in order to build on her craft. She hopes to bring some of her skill and good vibes to you.
