The legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra from New York is alive and well and touring the world with a special show just in time for the holiday season. 18 musicians and singers will bring their timeless classics to the stage such as In the Mood, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, String of Pearls and Tuxedo Junction, plus a wonderful selection of Christmas songs, arranged by the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
In the Christmas Mood will dazzle audiences with their indelible big band sound on so many of our holiday favorites including Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Let It Snow, The Christmas Song (There's No Place Like) Home For The Holidays, Jingle Bells and Frosty The Snowman. This is a must-see show for jazz and swing fans alike, the incurable romantics who want to step back in time and everyone who wants to celebrate the happiest of time of year!
Glenn Miller was the most successful dance bandleader of all time in the 1930’s and 1940’s and his music is a gift from one generation to the next. Producer Didier Morissonneau is proud to bring back the most famous swing orchestra of all time to the Royal Theatre.
