Join Black British portrait photographer Adina Lawrence for an inspiring artist talk and hands-on workshop exploring her commission Diverse Landscapes, created during the pandemic as part of Urban Wilderness CIC’s Wastelands programme. Adina will share her approach to photographing Stoke-on-Trent communities, creating portraits that celebrate cultural identity in local green spaces.
Creative Portraiture Workshop
After the talk, experiment with light, composition, and storytelling in a practical photography session led by Adina.

From Stoke-on-Trent, Adina is known for her “fantasy-like” style, creating vibrant, striking images. Diverse Landscapes places subjects outdoors in natural light with minimal processing, celebrating the diversity of North Staffordshire communities in a beautiful, family-friendly way.
