About the Book
A stranger comes to town who knows too much. Four teens who seem to have nothing in common just can’t escape this guy’s charisma. He tells them about their past. He reveals the truth that binds them, and he can predict the future in uncanny detail.
His purpose? to warn them they’re in danger. Particularly to warn Lark Fortune that his father is being hunted…by people from the future.
What can a group of teenagers do to save Dr. Fortune and themselves? What have they gotten into that has the whole future in a tailspin? Read along and find out with them.
About the Author
Mark Landon Jarvis is a professor of Children’s Literature. He holds a bachelor’s in education and a Master’s in English from Kansas State University.
His six novels in the Endless Tempest series are set in the Midwest but span the world. They are near-future, soft science fiction stories of characters overcoming crushing corporate control.
Jarvis, a native Kansan, continues to thrive with his family on a hobby farm outside of Wichita.
