Parents & Students,We’re excited to announce our State Fair Fundraiser, a great opportunity for parents, students, and others to support various ministries at Calvary Tabernacle. Here’s how you can get involved:
Who Can Volunteer:
- Students (14+): Work the scanner section at the walk-up line.
- CalTab Youth: Raise funds for Fall Retreat and HYC.
- CalTab Young Adults: Support Young Adult activities.
- Bible Quizzing Families: Contribute to your quizzing fund.
- ABLE Ministry: Earn for your ministry.
- Ladies Ministry: Support Mother’s Memorial, etc.
How It Works:
- Volunteers earn $10.50 per hour (tax-free) for their designated fund.
- Funds go into your Extracurricular Account or the ministry account of your choice.
- Volunteers help greet fair guests, sell and scan tickets, and assist with inquiries.

Important Information:
- Shift Details: Be on time. 7-hour shifts include a 30-minute meal break (pack a meal to save money). The fair provides water.
- Uniform: Tan or black pants (men), skirts (ladies), closed-toe comfortable shoes, and the State Fair t-shirt that will be provided. Optional hats provided by the Fair must be worn front-facing.
- Location: All volunteers work at Gate 16.
