Who this In Person Event is for:
Ages 6-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome but may find the event less meaningful and fulfilling.
What you’ll be doing:
Seeds of Caring is partnering with the National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM) to show our appreciation to Veterans and other military personnel in our community. Families will grow in empathy as we learn about and honor our veterans and active service members. Children will go on a brief tour of the museum and then work together to assemble appreciation bags and create thank-you cards that will be distributed to veterans visiting NVMM on Veteran’s Day. We will also be creating holiday ornaments that will be sent overseas to the active military through Operation Evergreen.

Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:
On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.
Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
