In-Person Training to Monitor Seals Around Sandy Hook Bay, NJ

Volunteers needed to monitor seal populations around Sandy Hook Bay, NJ this winter.

In-field training will start at Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook Park. GPS address: 460 Ocean Blvd, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716.

After a brief overview, we will drive to several sites at Sandy Hook, Gateway National Recreation Area, to monitor seals.

Please dress for the weather. We will be outdoors for entire time. Please bring your own Binoculars or spotting scope.

The training will cancel due to intense or stormy weather.
