Blackwork (sometimes known as Spanish work) is a type of counted thread embroidery, traditionally worked in black thread.
This class will be taught in-person at 850 Battery Street, San Francisco.
Class length: 3 hours
Skill level: Great for beginners or anyone wishing to brush up on their embroidery skills
Class Description: Learn the basics of blackwork! Blackwork (sometimes known as Spanish work) is a type of counted thread embroidery, traditionally worked in black thread. Counted stitches form geometric patterns, and varied thread thickness can be applied to produce shaded effects and depth. This design also featured gold thread highlights. Stitches include counted stitches and stem stitch.
Supplies: All materials will be provided to you in class.

Cancellation policy: SNAD will refund tuition less a $25 processing fee up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to class start time. No refunds for cancellations with less than 3 days notification before class start time.
