Develop strategies for identifying artworks that can help build and extend student comprehension of texts.
About this Event

Join the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s team of educators for an online workshop session where we dig into the question: how do you choose artworks to pair with a text to deepen understanding? Deliberate together on what makes a good pairing and get inspired to find “art-to-text" partners. This workshop is designed for educators of all grade levels and disciplines.

Free | This program was originally marketed for an in-person session. It will take place online.
